Anseong City has urged citizens to get vaccinated and follow personal hygiene guidelines in response to the nationwide influenza epidemic warning. According to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, 13.6 out of 1,000 outpatients showed symptoms of suspected influenza, exceeding the epidemic standard.
Anseong City encouraged participation in vaccinations for groups eligible for national support, including children aged 6 months to 13 years, pregnant women, and seniors aged 65 years or older, and emphasized compliance with basic hygiene rules such as hand washing and cough etiquette.

Additionally, if symptoms appear, it is recommended to seek treatment at a nearby medical institution, and those at high risk of complications such as pneumonia are requested to get vaccinated quickly.
A city health center official said, “We hope you have a healthy winter through active prevention and management.”
