Anseong City, support for recovery from heavy snow damage through designated donations under the Hometown Love Donation System

Anseong City (Mayor Kim Bo-ra) announced on the 23rd that it had selected the heavy snow damage recovery project as a designated donation target for the Hometown Love Donation System.

The Hometown Love Donation System’s designated donation project is a system in which donors can choose a specific project of a local government and donate to it. Anseong City is using this system to secure the budget needed for recovery from heavy snow damage.

Due to this heavy snowfall, an average of 60.53cm of snow fell in Anseong City, causing damage to the agricultural and livestock industries, as well as 8 casualties and over 180 billion won in property damage. In response, the government declared Anseong City a special disaster area and began providing recovery support.

Mayor Kim Bo-ra said, “Through the Hometown Love Donation System, we can contribute to recovering from heavy snow damage and increasing the income of affected farms,” and asked for “great interest and participation.”

Meanwhile, only residents outside of Anseong can donate to the Hometown Love Donation Fund, and when donating up to 5 million won, you can receive a tax deduction and a gift of agricultural specialties. Donations can be easily made through the Hometown Love e-um platform.
