First Purchase 24, 1 million won in cash donated for the elderly in Janggun-myeon

Social cooperative Priority Purchase 24 (CEO Noh Guk-hyeon) donated 1 million won to Janggun-myeon seniors who are experiencing a housing crisis in winter, and practiced warm sharing for the local community. This donation was made through prior consultation with the Janggun-myeon Community Center, and was donated in cash to provide practical help to seniors who are having a hard time in the cold winter.

Priority Purchase 24 has not only provided this support, but also delivered 20 boxes of adult diapers to vulnerable groups in the region in 2023 in consultation with community centers, providing support tailored to needs. These ongoing donation activities are not just one-time activities, but show Priority Purchase 24’s sincere efforts to provide real help to the local community.

The donated cash will be delivered to elderly households experiencing a housing crisis through the Community Chest of Korea. It is expected that this will be used to improve the heating and living environment of the elderly during the winter. This donation will be a great comfort to the vulnerable class who are suffering from double hardship due to economic difficulties and cold weather.

Representative Noh Gook-hyun said, “As the winter cold gets worse, I worry more about the elderly who have difficulty finding housing,” and added, “It’s a small gesture, but I hope the elderly will have a warm and safe winter.” As he said, this donation goes beyond simple material support and contains deep concern and love for the local community.

General Lee Bu-ho, the head of Janggun-myeon, responded, “I am deeply grateful to Priority Purchase 24 for their meticulous preparations to provide the necessary support,” and “I will make sure that they are delivered to the elderly so that they can have a warm winter.” He also added that he hopes that this type of sharing will continue in the community and give hope to more neighbors.

This donation by First Purchase 24 is evaluated as an exemplary case of warm concern and practical support for the vulnerable in the local community. We hope that this good deed will continue in the future so that more neighbors in the region can benefit.
