Incheon Namdong-gu Ganseok Dementia Day Care Center announced on the 26th that it recently held a ‘ Merry Christmas Party ‘ with the participation of about 30 people, including residents of the dementia day care center .

The event was held in collaboration with the Namdong-gu volunteer group ‘ Banggeul Banggeul Health Exercise Group ‘ , and helped elderly people with dementia regain vitality in their daily lives by singing Christmas carols while doing health exercises .
Additionally , the seniors had a time of meaningful communication, sharing snacks and talking about good memories related to Christmas .
A center official said , “ In these times when it is difficult for families to gather together , we hope that today’s event will be remembered as a warm and bountiful Christmas for the elderly and become a page of precious memories ,” adding, “ We will continue to do our best to promote various programs and events so that the elderly with dementia can stay healthy . ”
The Ganseok Dementia Day Care Center provides various care services, including ▶ day care services ▶ cognitive rehabilitation programs ▶ education and support for families of dementia patients, to elderly people with mild dementia during the day when it is difficult to receive care from their families .
