On the 21st, Goyang City Children and Youth Mental Health Welfare Center held a family movie viewing event for children, youth, and their families, creating a meaningful time to increase bonds and intimacy among family members.

Goyang City Children and Youth Mental Health Welfare Center (Director Yeni Kim, Dongguk University Ilsan Hospital Department of Psychiatry) announced that it held a family movie viewing event for children and youth and their families using the center on the 21st.
This event was designed to promote communication and intimacy between families through cultural experiences and to form positive family relationships.
A total of 162 people from 56 families participated in the event and watched the recently released animated film ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ together. By watching the film, the participating families relieved the tension and stress of their daily lives and shared warm emotional bonds with each other.
Participants said, “It’s been a long time since we’ve had a family outing and had a great time together,” and “We are grateful for this meaningful event at the end of the year.”
Center Director Kim Ye-ni said, “I hope this movie screening event will serve as an opportunity to strengthen bonds between families,” and added, “We will continue to operate various programs so that not only children and youth, but also families can function as a healthy support system.”
Goyang City Youth Mental Health Welfare Center plans to continue to promote various activities to promote the mental health of children and adolescents and strengthen family relationships.
