Incheon Metropolitan City Seo-gu Cultural Center and Seo-gu Youth Choir successfully held the 11th regular concert ‘O holy night’ on the 14th, deeply moving the residents with the peaceful harmony created by the seniors.

Incheon Metropolitan City Seo-gu Cultural Center (Director Jeong Gun-seop) held the 11th regular concert of Seo-gu Youth Choir, ‘O holy night’ on the 14th. Seo-gu Youth Choir, Galchae, is a choir comprised of 40 senior citizens aged 60 or older, and has been receiving love from the local community since its founding in 2012, holding concerts consistently.
In this regular concert, a total of 11 songs were performed, including ‘Da pacem, Domine’ and ‘O holy night’, prepared under the guidance of conductor Eun-mi Yoo and accompanists In-seon Hwang and Kyung-hee Lee. The members memorized all the songs through long hours of practice and presented a high-level chorus, moving the audience by coloring the starry night with peaceful harmony.
Seo Deok-hyeon, the director of the Seogu Cultural Center, said, “The stage prepared with passion and pride by the senior members gave the residents an unforgettable impression,” and added, “I hope that the seniors’ songs will convey peace and warm emotions to the residents.”
