The Art Residency outside of the Advisory Council is a creative platform built on the rich cultural and artistic resources of Pyeongchang-dong and Buam-dong. Since its opening in September 2020, it has provided creative space and various support programs to about 10 emerging and growing cultural and artistic individuals every year.

The 5th group of resident artists in 2025 will consist of a total of 10 teams (12-13 people), and any cultural or artistic person aged 19 or older can apply. The fields of support include pure arts as well as related fields that can be integrated with creative activities.

Jongno-gu plans to select the final resident artists through document screening and interview screening. The selected artists will be able to move into the Jangmunbak Art Residency from February to December 2025 to carry out creative activities, and will also be able to participate in various growth support programs such as ‘Cultural Artist Mentoring’, ‘Bukchon Relay Exhibition’, and ‘Participation in Cultural Festivals and Art Education’.

To apply for support, download the application form from the website of the Art Residency outside of the Advisory Council, fill it out, and submit it via email along with your portfolio.
