As multiple casualties were reported from the plane crash at Muan Airport in Jeollanam-do, Yongin Special City Mayor Lee Sang-il said, “I express my deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in this unfortunate accident and offer my condolences to their families.” He also added, “I sincerely hope that the injured victims recover quickly.”

The mayor emphasized, “We believe that the government and relevant authorities will quickly take action to rescue and recover from the accident,” and “Yongin Special City will also spare no effort in providing the resources and manpower needed to rescue people and treat the injured.”

He continued, “Even if the political situation is chaotic, the government must respond to this accident without wavering,” and “I urge them to mobilize all necessary resources and do their best to recover from the accident and support the victims.”
