Incheon Michuhol-gu (Mayor Lee Young-hoon) held the final report meeting for the ‘2050 Carbon Neutrality and Green Growth Basic Plan Establishment Service’ in the district office conference room on December 16. Approximately 30 people, including Mayor Lee Young-hoon, members of the 2050 Carbon Neutrality and Green Growth Committee, and heads of related departments, attended the meeting.
This report was conducted based on the results of one year of research, and Lee Seung-hoon, a senior researcher at Anyang University’s Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation who was in charge of the project, presented greenhouse gas reduction targets, detailed implementation plans, and implementation management measures. The report discussed the vision and goals for carbon neutrality implementation, and in-depth discussions were held on specific implementation strategies.
The district plans to supplement the basic plan by reflecting the opinions presented at the report meeting, and then finalize the final plan after deliberation by the Michuhol-gu 2050 Carbon Neutral Green Growth Committee. In addition, starting from 2025, the district plans to review the performance of the project through an annual performance evaluation and revise and supplement the plan.
