The Sejong Special Self-Governing City Eojin-dong Community Security Council (Co-chairs Shin Young-ho and Ha Ju-an) contributed to the spread of a culture of sharing in the local community by delivering a good store signboard to Subway Sejong Eojin-dong (CEO Kim Nam-won) on the 30th. Subway Sejong Eojin-dong was selected as the second good store in Eojin-dong, and is contributing to the improvement of the local community’s welfare through regular donations and support activities for the underprivileged.
The Good Store is a community sharing project that donates a certain amount of money, more than 30,000 won, every month to neighbors in need. The Sejong Community Chest of Korea gives plaques with the Fruit of Love engraved on them to stores that have participated in the donation, and encourages their warm hearts. Subway Sejong Eojin Branch does not stop there, and as the second store of the Good Heart Eojin Store, it provides sandwiches for free to families with food shortages every other month, practicing more practical sharing activities.

CEO Kim Nam-won said about being selected as a good store, “I am very happy to be able to participate in sharing, even in a small way, through the Eojin-dong Community Security Council,” and “I want to fulfill my responsibility as a member of the local community.” As he said, the role of a good store goes beyond simple donations and has become an important activity that provides practical help to needy neighbors in the region.
The donations from the Good Store are used for customized welfare projects and public-private cooperation projects through the Eojin-dong Community Security Council. Through this, we provide necessary help to the vulnerable in the community and create a virtuous cycle of sharing. Shin Young-ho, the head of Eojin-dong, said, “I am deeply grateful for the warm sharing shown by Subway Sejong Eojin Store,” and “I hope that customers who visit this store also feel the meaning of sharing and that good deeds will return to greater happiness.”
The participation of Subway Sejong Eojin Branch is a great example in spreading the culture of sharing in the local community.
