On December 16, 2024, Korea Cyber University (OCU) held a grand opening ceremony for the Gangnam Learning Center located at 101 Ogeum-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul, and announced a new leap forward. Gangnam Learning Center is the first offline learning space established by OCU, and was created to provide learners with the optimal learning environment and new educational experiences.

Gangnam Learning Center is located on the 3rd and 4th floors and has various study spaces and cutting-edge facilities. It consists of a 130-seat auditorium, 30-seat lecture room 1, 25-seat lecture room 2, and 30-seat lecture room 3, and each lecture room is equipped with equipment optimized for learning, such as an electronic podium, fixed beam projector, screen, and whiteboard. In particular, the auditorium is an expandable space utilizing folding doors, allowing for flexible use.

On December 17th, the day after the opening ceremony, the ‘2024 Korea Open Cyber University Special Professor Workshop’ was held in the main auditorium on the 4th floor of the Gangnam Learning Center. Various professors participated in the workshop and discussed the direction of education and development potential. On this day, the special professors shared the educational vision and goals of Korea Open Cyber University and had a meaningful time.

At the end of the event, a meal and wine party was held for the attendees, creating an even more enjoyable atmosphere. The opening of the Gangnam Learning Center and the workshop are expected to go beyond simply providing a space and become a center for learning and research, and are garnering great expectations.
