Yeonsu-gu ( District Mayor Lee Jae- ho) was selected as an excellent organization in the ‘2024 Resident Registration and Seal ( Signature Verification ) Work Sector ‘ and received a commendation from the Minister of the Interior and Safety .
This award is the result of selecting 12 excellent organizations that have contributed to improving the resident registration and seal systems in local and basic autonomous bodies across the country , and Yeonsu-gu was the only one among the 10 counties and districts in Incheon to be honored with being selected .
In particular , Yeonsu-gu was highly praised for its efforts to establish the system, such as actively promoting the resident registration fact-finding investigation through cooperation between civil servants and district heads and utilizing various media to increase the participation rate in non-face-to-face investigations .

Through this , 115,261 citizens participated in the non – face-to-face fact-finding investigation , recording a participation rate of 29.29%, showing excellent results among the 229 basic local governments nationwide .
In addition, Yeonsu-gu stood out in the individual award category in addition to the institutional award .
The Dongchun 3 -dong chief received a commendation from the minister in the civil service category , and the Songdo 5 -dong chief received a commendation from the civilian category, achieving the feat of winning awards in all three categories: institution , civil service , and civilian .
Yeonsu-gu District Mayor Lee Jae-ho said , “ This award is an achievement made through communication with residents ,” and added , “ We will continue to provide active and open civil affairs administrative services to realize trustworthy administration . ”
