Michuhol-gu Gwangyo-dong Community Social Security Council (Chairman Jeong Hae-min) delivered electric blankets to 11 low-income vulnerable households in the district on the 30th to help them have a warm winter.
This activity was organized as part of the special project ‘Support for a Cool and Warm Season’ that the council is promoting together with the Community Chest of Korea. Ahead of the cold winter, the committee members visited each household to deliver electric mats and check on the well-being of their neighbors. They also conveyed encouragement and warmth to underprivileged families so that they can have a healthy and warm winter.

Chairman Jeong Hae-min said, “I hope that the electric mats will be of some help to our neighbors who are suffering from the winter cold,” and added, “We will continue to practice sharing activities in the future so that we can help more neighbors.”
Meanwhile, the Gwan-gyo-dong Community Welfare Council has been consistently carrying out welfare activities for vulnerable groups throughout the year, including providing electric fans to seven single-parent households and elderly people living alone in June.
