Yangcheon-gu District Mayor Lee Ki-jae said in his New Year’s address on the 26th, “We have been running tirelessly to solidify the future foundation of Yangcheon-gu.” He explained that, above all, urban development projects are progressing rapidly and problems that have been pending for 20 years have been resolved, such as the final announcement of the decision on the upward trend of the Mokdong 1-3 complex district unit plan.
In addition, by completing the nationwide ‘Y Education Fair’ and the regional future education support belt, the brand power of ‘Yangcheon, the city of education’ was increased, and practical support for affected residents was strengthened with the nation’s first ‘airport noise countermeasure area property tax reduction’, and the business outlook was brightened through the active promotion of the ‘Daejang-Hongdae Line and other railway network construction projects’ and ‘Sinjeong Depot Relocation and Line 2 Sinjeong Branch Extension’, he added.

Last year, we continued to run without rest, solidifying the foundation for the future of Yangcheon-gu.

A development plan has been created for 7 out of 14 complexes in Mokdong.
Shinwol 7-dong public and private redevelopment project, Shinwol 1 and 3-dong Moatown project,
The downtown redevelopment projects in Sinjeong-dong and Mok-dong are also progressing smoothly.
In addition, the final announcement was made regarding the decision on the upward district unit plan for Mokdong Apartment Complexes 1, 2, and 3.
A problem that has been pending for 20 years has been completely resolved.
