Geumsan County Governor Park Beom- in pledged to improve the quality of life of the county residents and to take a leap forward for Geumsan in the year of Eulsa in 2025. He emphasized that he would make this a year in which he could experience achievement and pride through a bold spirit of challenge and cooperation with the county residents .
He said, “ I will improve the quality of life of the people and make Geumsan a place that advances into the world ,” and “ Let’s foster hope and happiness in Geumsan through bold challenges . ”

Looking back on the past year, Governor Park said , “ The people and public officials worked together to overcome the worst flood damage and raise the status of Geumsan as the world’s capital of ginseng . ” He continued , “2025 will be the fourth year of the 8th local government of Geumsan County , and it will be a year in which we can realize the results and feel proud . ”
Governor Park presented the vision of Geumsan County’s administration with three keywords . First , ‘ the icing on the cake ’ means to further highlight Geumsan’s beauty and achieve sustainable development . Second , ‘ national product tax ’ contains the will to expand Geumsan ginseng’s entry into the global market and revitalize the local economy . Third , ‘ full of humanity ’ presents a vision to achieve a unified county administration through communication, trust , and cooperation .
He said , “ Last November , South Chungcheong Province and Daejeon City took the first step toward administrative integration , ” and expressed his expectations for the acceleration of regional development . He predicted that Geumsan County would reach a new turning point with the combined power of Daejeon and South Chungcheong Province .

Governor Park cited the teachings of Confucius and emphasized, “ A wise person is not deluded , a virtuous person is not anxious , and a courageous person is not afraid . ” He said, “ If we move forward with a united mind based on pride in being Geumsan residents, Geumsan will receive the world’s attention as the home of life . ”
He expressed his intention to strengthen the transparency and efficiency of military administration through cooperation and communication with the people and to further elevate Geumsan’s regional and international status .
In 2025 , Geumsan-gun is moving forward toward two goals: improving the quality of life of its residents and making a global leap forward . Based on the leadership of Geumsan-gun Mayor Park Beom-in and the cooperation of its residents, it is expected that Geumsan will grow into a ‘ hometown of life ‘ that will receive worldwide attention .
