Since its debut in March 2023, this bus has been providing mental health services to residents by visiting various places such as workplaces, schools, and social welfare facilities. This year in particular, it has visited fire stations, vocational rehabilitation centers for the disabled, and employment counseling centers to look after the mental health of employees in strict working environments. The Mind Peace Bus will conduct a program to analyze brain stress and fatigue through brain wave and pulse tests, and provide counseling for depression and anxiety.

A taxi driver said, “Thanks to the counseling on the Mind-Easy Bus, my anxiety and tension from long drives have been greatly reduced,” and felt the positive changes of the program. Yeongdeungpo-gu Mayor Choi Ho-kwon said, “I will do my best to ensure that residents suffering from mental difficulties can receive the services they need nearby.”

The steady service of the Mind Peace Bus is a great comfort to employees who are having a hard time in an isolated environment, and Yeongdeungpo-gu plans to expand mental health support to various classes in the future.
