Since taking office last year, Chairman Cho has strengthened cooperation with related organizations and related institutions and signed business agreements (MOUs) to make substantial improvements in the field of welfare for the disabled. In the process, he has attracted private sponsorship and laid the foundation for operating a survival swimming program for the disabled. Hana Bank’s sponsorship has been a driving force for operating various programs at the Jochiwon Swimming Pool operated by the corporation.

This year, the disabled survival swimming and customized swimming program provided by the corporation was conducted a total of 42 times, and 44 disabled people completed it. The program was designed based on the systematic course of the Korea Life Saving Association, such as floating in water, survival strokes, and tool use, and provided the disabled with an opportunity to acquire practical survival skills. The participants said that they gained valuable experience in overcoming their fear of water and building their confidence.
