Last year, from November 27 to 28, Yongin Special City suffered record-breaking snowfall, causing damage to many buildings. In response, Yongin Special City has prepared a support measure to reduce land survey fees for damaged buildings and temporary structures by up to 100% for two years from December 19, 2023, when it was declared a special disaster area.
The land surveying fee for residential buildings and houses (radio waves and loss) is fully exempted by 100%, and a 50% discount is applied to other land and facilities (temporary buildings such as containers and vinyl houses).
Applications for land surveying can be made at the reception window of the civil affairs and land surveying division of each district office in Yongin Special City, and for specific inquiries, call ▲ Cheoin-gu (031-6193-5089), ▲ Giheung-gu (031-6193-6124), and ▲ Suji-gu (031-6193-8128). In addition, online applications are available through the Land Surveying Immediate Processing Center (http://baro.lx.or.kr), and phone consultations and applications are available at the Immediate Processing Call Center (1588-7704).
City officials said, “This measure is intended to help citizens who suffered damage from heavy snowfall to recover more quickly,” and added, “We will continue to explore various ways to support citizens’ actual recovery from damage.”
In addition, Yongin Special City is preparing various recovery support policies for citizens who suffered damage from heavy snowfall and is doing its best to ensure quick and efficient recovery through these policies.
