Board of Audit and Inspection '2024 Self-Audit Activity Review' Selected as an Outstanding Institution for Performance Improvement

Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) was honored with a commendation from the Chairman of the Board of Audit and Inspection for being selected as an excellent organization for performance improvement in the ‘2024 Self-Audit Activity Review’ hosted by the Board of Audit and Inspection. The ‘Self-Audit Activity Review’ is a system that evaluates the internal control system and the appropriateness of the operation of the audit organization for 677 organizations nationwide, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions. This year, 236 organizations participated in the on-site review and 441 organizations participated in the written review.

Jungnang-gu has made significant improvements compared to the previous year, particularly in two areas: ▲the composition and personnel level of the self-audit organization and ▲the performance of self-audit activities. This performance was evaluated as the top among the 36 basic local governments with a population of 300,000 or more nationwide, and contributed to the district being selected as an ‘excellent organization for performance improvement.’
