Incheon Seo-gu (Mayor Kang Beom-seok) will hold its first visit to greet the new year from the 7th to the 16th with the theme of ‘Dreaming of a new tomorrow with residents.’ This event was prepared to share Seo-gu’s vision through direct communication with residents and to reflect residents’ opinions in the operation of the district.
Through this visit, Seogu plans to provide customized district administration information for each of the seven regions. In particular, it will introduce a communication method that is tailored to the eye level of residents, such as watching resident interview videos and participatory New Year’s performances, breaking away from the existing one-way lecture format. Through this, it plans to share Seogu’s vision with residents, increase understanding of district administration, and actively collect residents’ opinions.
Seo-gu District Mayor Kang Beom-seok said, “I will use this visit as a valuable opportunity to listen closely to the voices of the residents and reflect them in the operation of the district to prepare for a new tomorrow for Seo-gu together,” and added, “I will do my best to create a better Seo-gu through harmony with the residents.”
This event goes beyond simply providing information provided by the Seo-gu Office, and focuses on strengthening interaction with residents and expanding citizen participation. Through this, Seo-gu plans to reflect residents’ opinions more specifically in district administration and lay the foundation for designing Seo-gu’s future together with residents.
The West plans to continue to strengthen communication with residents and expand resident participation in district administration to realize resident-centered administration.
