Yeonsu-gu Mayor Lee Jae-ho began his first official schedule for 2025 by visiting the Freedom Defense Tower at the Incheon Landing Operation Memorial Hall on the 2nd to welcome the new year of Eulsa (乙巳年) .

On this day, around 80 people, including Mayor Lee Jae-ho , district council members , heads of veterans’ organizations , war veterans , heads of social organizations , district administration innovation advisory committee members , and senior public officials, attended the pilgrimage and paid tribute to the noble spirits of the patriotic ancestors and the spirits of those who protected the country, in the order of laying flowers and observing a moment of silence .

The New Year’s Eve worship service was prepared to pray for regional development and the well-being of residents in the new year and to pledge to make a hopeful leap forward for the 30th anniversary of the opening and the third year of the 8th elected government .
Yeonsu-gu District Mayor Lee Jae-ho said, “ We are sending off the breathless year of 2024 and starting the new year of 2025, the Year of the Blue Snake ,” and added , “ As we welcome the Year of the Blue Snake, which symbolizes a new beginning, I will do my best to design a sustainable future together with the local community . ”
