Anseong City Health Center Dementia Care Center will implement ‘Dementia Screening Tests on-site’ starting January 6 to help detect and prevent dementia in the elderly at an early stage.
This program visits senior centers, senior colleges, and other places where seniors gather to conduct dementia screening tests and preventive education. Memory and attention are assessed through a simple 10-15 minute test, and if any abnormalities are found after the test, additional diagnostic tests can be taken free of charge.

In particular, the financial burden has been reduced by supporting the maximum out-of-pocket cost of essential tests such as diagnostic tests and brain imaging up to 80,000 won. If diagnosed with dementia, you can register at the center to receive integrated services such as support for treatment costs and fingerprint registration to prevent disappearances.
An official from the Dementia Care Center encouraged participation, saying, “This program will contribute to helping the elderly live a healthy old age through dementia prevention and early diagnosis.”
