Aram Books’ representative math fairy tale collection ‘Math Special Forces’ has won the 2024 Korean Brand Award in the children’s collection category, drawing attention from the educational publishing industry. Math Special Forces is a customized math fairy tale for children ages 3 to 7, and is composed of content that allows them to naturally learn mathematical concepts and principles.

This collection covers five major areas: number operations, space and shapes, rules and classification, measurement, and fusion, and boasts a massive composition of 50 volumes in total, including 42 main books, 1 nursery rhyme book, 1 guidebook, 3 play activity books, and 3 sets of teaching aids. In particular, through Saypen, children can interact with the characters in the story and hear supplementary explanations of key sentences, which contributes to increasing children’s understanding and immersion.

‘Math Special Forces’ is designed to help children easily and enjoyably approach mathematical concepts using familiar classic stories and various manipulative devices. It allows children to directly experience mathematical principles through characters from classic stories such as Cinderella and Snow White, and devices such as flaps, slides, and pop-ups. In addition, it provides a learning experience that allows children to see, hear, and touch through manipulative play, math songs, and animation videos.
