Cheonan Love Card, January cashback limit increased to 500,000 won and payment rate increased to 10%

Cheonan City announced on the 31st that it will increase the cashback payment limit for the Cheonan Love Card to 500,000 won and the payment rate to 10% for one month in January next year. This special support is being promoted with the goal of stimulating local consumption and revitalizing local businesses.

Cheonan Love Card is a local currency operated by Cheonan City to revitalize the local economy, and is consistently popular among citizens. This measure is being implemented temporarily to stimulate consumer sentiment at the beginning of the year and help increase sales for small business owners.

In 2024, the basic 8% cashback payment policy will be applied with a limit of 300,000 won per month. However, in order to maximize the effect of stimulating consumption when necessary, the cashback limit and payment rate will be temporarily increased to 500,000 won and 10%, respectively.

Cheonan City expects that the implementation of this policy will increase sales of small business owners through the Cheonan Love Card to over 38 billion won in January 2024. This is expected to have a positive ripple effect on the local economy as a whole, beyond simply increasing consumption.
