Event to support New Year's resolution to quit smoking

Ongjin County (Governor Moon Kyung-bok) announced that it will hold a special event in January to provide souvenirs to new registrants of the smoking cessation clinic for residents who have resolved to quit smoking in the new year.

The smoking cessation clinic operates from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays, and its main services include ▲carbon monoxide measurement and nicotine dependence test ▲personalized counseling ▲free provision of nicotine supplements and behavioral reinforcement products ▲provision of souvenirs upon successful smoking cessation (3 months, 6 months). In addition, a mobile smoking cessation clinic is also operated for residents who have difficulty visiting due to regional characteristics, thereby strengthening smoking cessation support.

Residents who wish to quit smoking can receive detailed guidance from the Ongjin County Health Center Smoking Cessation Clinic (032-899-3148) or a nearby health branch or health clinic.
