Geumsan-gun held a meeting with the Geumsan-gun Daycare Center Association in Namil-myeon on December 30 , 2024. With 25 people in attendance , including Geumsan-gun Mayor Park Beom-in and Geumsan-gun Daycare Center Association President Kim Jeong- sun , the meeting discussed the current status of daycare center operations in the district and improvement plans .
Currently, there are a total of 21 daycare centers in operation in Geumsan-gun, including public daycare centers , social welfare corporations , corporations / groups , private daycare centers , and workplace daycare centers . In addition to supporting daycare centers, the county is promoting various childcare policies to create a Geumsan where both parents and children are happy .

In 2024 , Geumsan-gun will invest a total of 10.5 billion won in 37 items, including daycare center operating expenses , labor costs , and infant/toddler meal and snack expenses . This budget focuses on improving the working environment of daycare teachers and supporting the healthy growth of infants and toddlers .
Geumsan County’s childcare business goes beyond simple support and focuses on creating a good environment for raising children through cooperation with the local community . Through this meeting, we hope to communicate with daycare center officials and strengthen realistic childcare policies .
Park Beom-in, the governor of Geumsan County, said, “ I appreciate the hard work of daycare center staff to make Geumsan a good place to raise children . ” He promised close cooperation with daycare centers , saying , “ We will not spare administrative or financial support to create a childcare environment that can be felt in the county as well . ”
At the meeting, difficulties and improvement requests experienced by daycare center staff were discussed , and Geumsan County plans to establish specific support measures based on this .
Geumsan-gun’s daycare center childcare business is contributing to improving the childcare environment in the region and creating a happy environment for both parents and children . The close cooperation between Geumsan-gun and the Daycare Center Association is expected to play an important role in leading to the development of the local community and the healthy growth of children in the future .
