Goyang Special City is recruiting new members for the university student mentor group **’Goyang Univ’** to help middle and high school students plan their careers in 2025. The recruitment period is until January 19, 2025, and the university students selected as mentors will engage in department mentoring and career planning support activities.

Goyang Special City (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced that it is recruiting new members for 2025 for the **’Goyang City University Student Mentor Group – Goyang Univ’**, which is operated by local university students to help middle and high school students plan their career paths.
‘Goyang Univ’ is a program designed to support students’ department selection and career planning by allowing university students to share their departmental experiences and college life know-how with middle and high school students.
◆ Application qualifications and recruitment process
Eligibility:
College students who graduated from middle and high schools in Goyang City
College student living in Goyang City
A college student attending a university in Goyang City
Participants: Current students and students on leave (excluding graduate students)

Selection criteria: Selection is made by comprehensively considering the faithfulness of the application content, diversity of the department, etc.

College students selected as mentors provide academic and career mentoring to middle and high school students based on their own experiences. They also help the youth design specific and feasible career plans.
Additionally, mentors participate in various community service and communication activities, and have opportunities for networking and self-development among mentors.
