Incheon Dong-gu (District Mayor Kim Chan-jin) announced on December 20 that it will expand the project to fully support the cost of dental home care treatment from the first molars to the second molars. This project was designed to prevent cavities and preserve healthy permanent teeth in children.
With this expansion of support, children aged 14 or younger who have a registered address in Dong-gu and are enrolled in the National Health Insurance Service will now be able to receive full support for treatment costs for a total of eight teeth, including first molars (the first large molars) and second molars (the second large molars) that do not have cavities.

To apply, visit one of the 23 cooperating dental institutions in the Dong-gu area with a copy of your resident registration, or inquire by phone. Dong-gu Mayor Kim Chan-jin said, “You need to take care of your dental health from a young age to maintain good oral health as an adult,” and added, “I hope that this expansion of treatment cost support will be of great help in promoting preventive oral health in children.”
Through this project, Dong-gu will spare no support to help children in the region grow up healthier and more energetically.
