Jungnang-gu (District Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) announced that it will operate a special winter play area for children and teenagers, the Jungnang-gu Children’s Sledding Hill , at Junghwa Sports Park from December 27 to February 9 of next year to coincide with the winter vacation.
This sledding hill was built to provide children with opportunities to experience winter leisure and exercise. The main facilities include two large and small slopes, a snow play park, and an ice sledding hill, and winter play experience programs are also operated. The opening ceremony was held on December 27 at Jungnangcheon Dunchi Junghwa Sports Park. The operating hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day, and the park is closed every Monday and on the Lunar New Year holidays (January 28 and 29) for safety checks. Children and adolescents under the age of 18 can use it, and admission is free, but some play facilities are operated on a fee basis.

The city will place safety personnel on site and conduct regular inspections of facilities, prioritizing the safety of visitors. Since parking is not provided, public transportation is recommended, and thorough management will be carried out to protect safety and the environment.
Ryu Gyeong-gi, the mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “I hope this sledding hill will provide special winter memories for children and families,” and added, “I will do my best to ensure that all residents can have a good time in a safe environment.”
