Horseback Riding, the Artistic Sport of Harmony and Balance

Dressage is a sport in which riders and horses compete for points by performing various movements and patterns in harmony. It is a sport that is evaluated for the communication between the horse and the person and artistic beauty, rather than a simple competition. In this competition, the two riders drew praise from the judges and the audience with their near-perfect chemistry and skills.

Sejong City Mayor Choi Min-ho (Chairman of Sejong City Disabled Sports Association) said, “Thanks to Park Jeong-je and Lee Jong-ha’s outstanding performances at the national competition, the status of disabled sports in Sejong City has been elevated even higher,” and added, “We will continue to provide support and interest so that the athletes can perform at their best.”

The Sejong Disabled Equestrian Association plans to continue to participate in various domestic and international competitions to promote disabled equestrianism and raise interest in the local community.
