Sejong Special Self-Governing City Facilities Management Corporation (Chairman Cho So-yeon) announced that it will change the usage fees of public sports facilities such as Boram Swimming Pool, Disabled National Sports Center, and Jochiwon Swimming Pool starting December 12, 2024. This fee adjustment will be implemented in accordance with the revision of the “Sejong City Sports Facilities Management and Operation Ordinance” and aims to rationally reorganize fees and increase convenience for citizens.
Key changes in public sports facility fees
The new rates will affect both daily and monthly users. The main changes are as follows:
Daily usage fee
Adults: 1,000 won increase
Youth and children: 500 won increase
Monthly tuition fee
Adults: 4,000 won increase
Youth: 3,000 won increase
Children: Increased by 2,000 won
Monthly free swimming fee
3,000 won discount for adults, youth, and children
This measure was taken to reduce the burden of free swimming by making the tuition and daily usage fees more realistic. It is expected that this will allow more citizens to use sports facilities at a reasonable cost.
