Seongnam City will operate a separate pavilion at CES 2025, the world’s largest electronics show held in Las Vegas, USA, and showcase the innovative technologies of local companies on the world stage. In particular, 11 Seongnam companies won CES Innovation Awards, achieving the feat of Seongnam City being recognized as a global high-tech city.

Seongnam City (Mayor Shin Sang-jin) announced that it will operate a standalone pavilion at CES 2025, the International Consumer Electronics Show, to be held in Las Vegas, USA from January 7 to 10, 2025. CES, the world’s largest consumer electronics show, is an event where approximately 4,500 companies and organizations from around the world participate every year to showcase cutting-edge technologies and products, and Seongnam City will participate in this show with 25 local companies.
Seongnam Hall, located on the second floor of the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, will serve as a hub to showcase cutting-edge technologies in various fields such as artificial intelligence, healthcare, smart cities, and mobility, and to strengthen the global business network. Seongnam City will actively support the entry of participating companies into the global market by providing exhibition booth support, marketing education, public relations support, and consulting on developing overseas sales channels.
In particular, at this year’s CES, a total of 11 Seongnam companies, including 3 companies participating in the Seongnam Pavilion and 8 individual participating companies, won CES Innovation Awards, making Seongnam’s technological prowess and creativity known to the world.
Innovation Award winners include AndOpen (facial recognition, biometrics, and security solutions), Skylabs (ring-type blood pressure monitor), and BrainU (brainwave-based anesthesia depth measurement device).
Seongnam City is attracting attention as an IT powerhouse both domestically and internationally, with cutting-edge industrial complexes including Pangyo Techno Valley and many innovative startups. The operation of this CES standalone pavilion is part of Seongnam City’s strategic project to strengthen the global competitiveness of local companies and expand connections with the cutting-edge technology ecosystem.
A Seongnam City official emphasized, “CES 2025 is a valuable opportunity for Seongnam companies to demonstrate their capabilities in the global market and exchange with global technology trends,” and “Through this independent exhibition and innovation award, we will provide an opportunity for Seongnam to establish itself as a global innovation-centered city.”
At CES 2025, Seongnam City is operating a separate pavilion for the second time since last year, focusing on promoting the technological prowess of Seongnam companies to the world.
