On the 3rd, Juan 8-dong, Michuhol-gu (Director Kim Seon-sook) signed a business agreement with two local medical institutions (Geunbaro Hospital, Juan First Hospital) to provide health lectures and programs to senior citizens at senior centers.
This agreement was promoted to increase accessibility to local medical institutions and improve the health level of residents by providing various health-related education and programs to the elderly.
In particular, the ‘Healthy, Solid Foundation’ project will be fully implemented starting in January of this year, and will be carried out in cooperation with Juan 8-dong and local medical institutions, targeting approximately 100 senior citizens at five senior centers in the district.
The main program consists of various health education and programs on topics such as types and understanding of spinal and joint diseases, and management of chronic diseases in the elderly.

An official from Geunbaro Hospital said, “We will continue to actively provide various health programs and classes to encourage healthy lifestyle habits for seniors in the senior center.” An official from Juan First Hospital also said, “We feel rewarded that we can get closer to local residents through this project and provide various health education.”
Director Kim Seon-suk said, “Through this agreement, we will cultivate senior citizens’ accessibility to medical institutions and their ability to manage their health,” and added, “We will continue to strengthen cooperation with local medical institutions and strive to promote the health of residents through various health projects.”
