Yeongdeungpo-gu announced that it will hold a special exhibition of contemporary art, ‘Rosy Future: Ambiguous Boundaries’ at Yeongdeungpo Art Square until January 12th of next year. This exhibition will feature eight young artists who will present their unique visual art works on the theme of post-humanism.
The theme of the special exhibition is ‘The Beauty of Roses and the Duality of Thorns’, which reflects the artists’ intention to express the complex emotions of modern society. During the exhibition period, docents are provided every weekend, and visitors can have time to gain a deeper understanding of the works.

Additionally, a special lecture by Professor Kang Yi-yeon, an award-winning author from NASA and Google, is scheduled for December 27, providing more insight to the audience.
Mayor Choi Ho-kwon said, “This special exhibition featuring young artists in the young city of Yeongdeungpo is a great opportunity to explore post-humanism from a new perspective,” and added, “We will continue to prepare various programs so that residents can easily and up close access to culture and art.”
