Cheonan City announced on the 9th that it will fully launch the **’Promising Export Item Joint Marketing Support Project’** to strengthen the export competitiveness of local agricultural products. This project was created to resolve difficulties experienced by agricultural product exporters due to the abolition of logistics costs and rising labor costs, and to promote the improvement of the quality of local agricultural products and the expansion of export markets.

Investing 900 million won to support farmers and exporters

Cheonan City will invest a total budget of 900 million won to support producer groups of agricultural products for export and export agencies.

Producer Group : Support for joint sorting costs to maintain consistent quality of agricultural products for export

  • Export agency : Support for low-temperature distribution costs to preserve the quality of fresh agricultural products

The subsidy will be determined by applying the export weight to the support unit price for each item, and will be settled and paid at the end of each month. Through this, Cheonan City plans to contribute to maintaining quality during the selection process of agricultural products and ensuring freshness during the export process.

The main support targets for this project are fresh agricultural products such as fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, flowers, and ginseng .
