Chungnam Geumsan Regional Self-Reliance Center ( Director Im Nae-gyu ) held the 2025 Self-Reliance Work Project Launch Ceremony at the 8th floor performance hall of Cheongsan Hall in Geumsan-eup on the 15th . The launch ceremony was attended by approximately 100 people , including 62 participants in the Self-Reliance Work Project, Geumsan County Mayor Park Beom-in , Geumsan County Council Chairman Kim Gi-yoon , and related officials .
At the event, the main contents of this year’s self-reliance work project and the project team’s operation plan were shared , and the project participation process and expected effects were explained to participants .

Chungnam Geumsan Regional Self-Reliance Center will operate five business units and two self-reliance enterprises this year . Through this, it plans to provide stable employment opportunities to low-income residents such as basic livelihood security recipients and near-poor class residents, and strengthen employment linkage and self-reliance support services .
Until the 17th , we plan to provide job and qualification training to participants to strengthen their work capabilities and increase the efficiency of business operations .
Center Director Im Nae-gyu said, “ We will discover various programs that can increase the will of the participating residents to become independent and help them dream of a healthy future . ” The independent work program focuses on improving the quality of life of individuals as well as the economic independence of the participating residents .
Park Beom-in, the governor of Geumsan County, said, “ Through cooperation with the Chungnam Geumsan Regional Self-Reliance Center , we will provide stable jobs and create opportunities for people to become self-reliant by improving their work skills and acquiring skills . ”
The Chungnam Geumsan Regional Self-Reliance Center’s self-reliance work project provides low-income residents with not just a job opportunity, but also a foundation for self-reliance and growth . We hope that this inauguration ceremony will be an opportunity for more residents to lead stable and sustainable lives through self-reliance opportunities .
