Sejong Special Self-Governing City’s delivery app ‘Ddaenggyeoyo’, operated through public-private cooperation, is establishing itself as a representative platform for regional coexistence by offering up to 10% cashback benefits through local currency Yeominjeon payments in 2025.
‘Ddaenggyeoyo’, which was introduced early last year, secured 1,091 stores and recorded total sales of 1.3 billion won from January to December 2024, the first year of its launch, drawing a great response from citizens and small business owners. Based on this performance, Sejong City plans to continue to provide cashback benefits through Yeominjeon payments this year.

Cashback is paid immediately at the basic 5% when paying with Yeominjeon, and an additional 5% is paid at the end of the following month. The maximum monthly payment limit is 75,000 won, so citizens can consistently enjoy the benefits every month. It is expected to contribute to revitalizing local consumption and increasing sales for small business owners.
Consumer benefits do not stop here. Various events such as the ‘Danggeun Coupon’ with 100% winning every day, franchise discount coupons held every month, and the ‘Dang Day Event’ held on the 11th and 22nd are prepared to increase user satisfaction. The city plans to strengthen these promotions this year to further increase the usage rate of ‘Danggeunyo’.
Kim Hyeon-gi, the director of the Sejong City Economic and Industrial Bureau, said, “We will spare no support so that ‘Ddaenggyeoyo’ can go beyond its simple delivery app function and establish itself as a platform where local small business owners and citizens can grow together,” and asked for the interest and use of many citizens.
Sejong City plans to make efforts to enable more citizens to use ‘Ddaenggyeoyo’ on a daily basis through customized promotion and discovery of additional benefits. Through this, the city is focusing on killing two birds with one stone: revitalizing the local economy and promoting the mutual prosperity of small business owners.
