Distribution of casebooks to prevent bullying and support efficient administrative work

The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Geun-sik Jeong) announced on January 2 that it distributed the nation’s first standard lecture plan for preventing bullying , a collection of bullying cases and precedents , and a collection of school administrative work questions and answers to support schools and affiliated organizations. These are measures to prevent bullying problems at schools and increase the efficiency of administrative work, and are expected to contribute to creating a healthy organizational culture.

The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education has recently produced a standardized bullying prevention lecture and casebook to address the rapidly increasing number of reports of bullying and harassment in the workplace. The casebook is based on a variety of cases that can occur in actual educational settings, helping teachers and staff easily understand bullying issues and respond effectively.

The goal of this lecture and casebook is not simply to prevent bullying, but to create an organizational culture based on consideration and respect, so that schools can focus on their original role as education.

The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education also distributed a casebook of questions and answers for the Education Administration Support System to improve the efficiency of school administrative work. This system provides quick answers when schools have difficulties interpreting laws or guidelines, and strengthens practical work support through a casebook containing case-by-case answers to similar and repetitive questions and reference laws.

The casebook is also available in e-book format, so not only Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education faculty and staff but also any citizen can download it or read it as an e-book from **Education Administration Support System (baro.sen.go.kr)** and **Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education e-book Library (e-book.sen.go.kr)**.

Superintendent Jeong Geun-sik said, “I hope this casebook will be of practical help in handling bullying cases and improving administrative work capabilities,” and added, “We will continue to strive to create a healthy and mature organizational culture by reflecting opinions from the educational field.” With the distribution of this material, the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education plans to establish new standards for preventing bullying and supporting administrative work, and to lead an organizational culture of easing workloads and mutual cooperation in the educational field.
