Dongducheon Christian Association (Chairman Pastor Bae Sang-gil) held a prayer meeting for city development at Dongducheon Holiness Church on January 14, 2025, with approximately 80 people in attendance, including Dongducheon Mayor Park Hyung-deok, Christian Association officials, and citizens.

This prayer meeting was conducted in the following order: Part 1: Worship and Prayer Meeting, Part 2: Introduction of Distinguished Guests and Greetings. Pastor Jang Heon-ik of Dongducheon Holiness Church led a sermon on the topic, “Do This When You Pray!” Pastor Choi Gyu-seon of Seongshin Church led a prayer on the topic, “For the Country and People,” Pastor Jeon Jin-ho of Cheongahan Church led a prayer on the topic, “For the Development of Dongducheon City,” and Pastor Cha Ik-seong of Pyeonganhan Church led a prayer on the topic, “For the Peaceful Unification of North and South Korea.”
Dongducheon Mayor Park Hyung-deok said in his opening remarks, “I will do my best to ensure that Dongducheon City takes a leap forward and leads the wave of change in the Year of the Blue Snake, which symbolizes hope and growth.”
This prayer meeting was held to pray for the development of Dongducheon City and for harmony and a hopeful future for the local community. Participants prayed together to welcome the new year and pledged to make a new leap forward for the local community.
