The new program ‘Calligraphy’ at the Gaehang-dong Community Center in Jung-gu, Incheon is gaining popularity.
‘Calligraphy’ was designated as a new program in December of last year based on a survey of residents’ needs and opinions from the residents’ self-governing council. The first class was held on January 6 of this year.
There are a total of 7 existing Gaehang-dong Community Autonomy Center programs, with an average of 150 students taking classes per quarter. The newly opened ‘Calligraphy/Calligraphy’ class has already sold out its quota of 10 students, and is becoming a popular program with a waiting list for additional students.
