Geumsan-gun successfully held the 2025 Youth After-School Academy Entrance Ceremony with 23 middle school students at the Geumsan Youth Future Center on the 15th . Approximately 30 people, including new students, parents , and related personnel, attended the event to celebrate the new beginning .

The event began with the youth pledge and commemorative flower presentation ceremony . This was followed by a meeting with the homeroom teacher, where the rules of life were shared and the responsibility of the youth was emphasized . Parents toured the facilities their children would use and had time to discuss the operation plan and cooperation matters .
Geumsan-gun Youth After-School Academy is jointly operated by Geumsan-gun and the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family , and provides comprehensive support to middle school students who need after-school care . The program focuses on establishing a foundation for youth to grow healthily .
The 2025 Academy consists of the following : △ Subject learning ( mathematics ), △ Specialized programs ( capacity development , career experience , club activities ) , △ Physical activities ( table tennis , bowling ) , △ Self-development ( illustration , creative board , banka musician ) , △ Living support ( meals , counseling , health management ) . Through this, youth can experience holistic growth encompassing academics, physical strength , creativity , and self-development .

A military official said , “ This academy was launched to provide comprehensive activities , welfare , and protection to youth in need of after-school care ,” and “ We will do our best to operate the program so that the participating youth can build healthy basic physical strength and gain diverse experiences . ”
