Goyang City Disabled Comprehensive Welfare Center, 15th Lala Academy Participant Recruitment

Goyang City Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled is recruiting participants for the 15th ‘Lala Academy’, a customized education and leisure program for adults with developmental disabilities. This academy will open on February 17, and various activities such as trot dance, baking, and walking around the perimeter will be provided. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis on the welfare center’s website until February 12.

Goyang City Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled (Director Hwang Seong-jin) announced on the 17th that it is recruiting participants for the 15th ‘Lala Academy’, a small group customized daily life and social participation activity program for adults with developmental disabilities.

The Lara Academy is a program designed to improve the daily life skills of people with developmental disabilities and expand their social participation, and this year marks its 15th year. The academy will open on February 17, and participants will be able to participate in a variety of educational and leisure programs, including trot dance, group physical education, baking, home cooking, walking around the neighborhood, and self-expression activities.

Applications for participation will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from February 3 to February 12 through the website of the Goyang City Welfare Center for the Disabled. A welfare center official said, “Lala Academy is a program that helps people with developmental disabilities improve their daily life skills and communicate more actively with society. We hope for a lot of interest and participation from citizens.”
