Goyang City Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled (Director Hwang Seong-jin) is accepting applications for the 2025 ‘Gallery Emergency’ exhibition hall rental to support the creative activities of disabled artists and to promote cultural and artistic exchanges in the local community. The exhibition space is equipped with a wheelchair ramp to provide excellent accessibility, and rental fees and some equipment are provided free of charge for about a month.

Goyang City Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled is renting out the exhibition space, ‘Gallery Emergency’, within the welfare center to support the creative activities of disabled artists and local artists. This exhibition space is characterized by being equipped with a wheelchair ramp so that anyone, regardless of disability, can freely create and exhibit.
This rental is being carried out for the purpose of encouraging cultural and artistic activities of disabled artists and activating cultural exchanges with local residents. Applicants include disabled artists, local residents, related organizations, and groups, and selected renters can use the rental fee and some exhibition facilities and equipment free of charge for about a month.
A welfare center official said, “Gallery Emergency is an open space not only for disabled artists but also for all local residents,” and added, “We look forward to exhibition activities that can break down the barriers between the disabled and non-disabled and unite them through culture and art.”
