The volunteer group will begin its inauguration ceremony on February 15, and will conduct regular volunteer activities at the ‘Goyang Angel’s House’, a facility for the disabled in Goyang City, on the second Saturday of every month starting in March.
Families who participate in volunteer activities can receive volunteer hours certification, allowing them to gain meaningful experience through volunteer activities and leave an official record. Applications can be made through the Goyang City Health Family Support Center website.
The meaning of volunteer work
The Family Volunteer Group is a representative project of the Goyang City Health Family Support Center, and focuses on helping families share feelings with each other and help needy neighbors in the community through volunteer work. In particular, activities at facilities for the disabled provide volunteer group families with a valuable opportunity to develop a heart of understanding and consideration for others.
