Goyang City Mental Health Welfare Center (Director Lee Jeong-seok) announced that it is continuously recruiting ‘2025 Todak Todak Friends’ from January to November to help operate the ‘Todak Todak Bus’, a visiting mental health bus, and participate in mental health awareness improvement activities. Any Goyang City resident aged 19 or older can apply, and active participation from citizens interested in mental health is expected.

Goyang City Mental Health Welfare Center has been providing various mental health services centered around the ‘Todak Todak Bus’ that has been in operation since 2019. The Todak Todak Bus travels throughout Goyang City and provides stress assessments, mental health checkups, and participatory healing programs to citizens free of charge, thereby improving awareness of mental health.

‘Todak Todak Friends’ are volunteers who support the operation of this Todak Todak Bus and will carry out various activities related to mental health, such as mental health awareness surveys and campaign activities. Their activities are focused on reducing social prejudice against mental illness and helping citizens realize the importance of mental health.

Participation requirements and application method

Anyone who is 19 years of age or older and a resident of Goyang City can apply to become a Todak Todak Friends member. You can easily apply through the Volunteer Service Certification Center (VMS) or by phone (031-968-2333).

A center official said, “Todak Todak Friends does not simply stop at mental health screening and investigation activities, but also operates healing programs in which citizens can participate,” adding, “This will be a meaningful time to recognize the importance of mental health through volunteer activities, inform those around us about it, and contribute to eliminating social prejudice.”
