Goyang Special City (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 14th that Neulbom Yukgaejang (CEO Na Gyeong-tae), a famous beef soup restaurant located in Wondang-dong, donated 4 million won by collecting part of its 2024 profits. The donation will be used as support funds for low-income residents in Goyang City through the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea.

On this day, CEO Na Kyung-tae, officials from the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea, and officials from Goyang City attended the donation ceremony. CEO Na Kyung-tae said, “We started donating to Goyang City in 2022, and it’s already been going on for three years,” and “All customers who use Neulbom Yukgaejang are good donors and are participating in helping their neighbors.”

Neulbom Yukgaejang has gone beyond its reputation as a simple restaurant to become a ‘donation restaurant’ by consistently practicing sharing for the local community. CEO Na donates a portion of his profits every year to charity, taking the lead in delivering warm hope to marginalized neighbors.

Lee Jae-bok, the director of the Goyang City Social Welfare Bureau, responded, “Neulbom Yukgaejang is establishing itself as an example of a community-leading donation culture,” and “I believe that this Yukgaejang restaurant, famous for its delicious taste, will become widely known as a neighborhood-loving donation restaurant, enriching our entire society.”

Goyang City plans to spare no support to ensure that sharing activities continue to spread within the region. This donation by Neulbom Yukgaejang is drawing attention as an example of the good influence of Goyang citizens, and it is expected that this will further spread the culture of donation within the local community.

CEO Na Kyung-tae said, “Donating is not something special, but something that everyone can do together,” and added, “We will continue to grow and share with the local community.”
