Gyeonggi Northern Recycling Association donates 3 million won to Yangju City

Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyeon) announced on the 14th that the Gyeonggi Northern Recycling Association (Chairman Kim Deok-hwa) recently visited the city hall and donated 3 million won.

Mayor Kang Su-hyeon of Yangju, Chairman Kim Deok-hwa, and eight association members attended this donation ceremony, and the donated money will be delivered to vulnerable groups in the region through the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea.

The Gyeonggi Northern Recycling Association is an organization comprised of recycling workers in Yangju, Uijeongbu, Dongducheon, Pocheon, and Yeoncheon, and has been contributing to the spread of a culture of sharing in the local community through consistent donation activities every year. In particular, it has continued to do good deeds by donating 2.3 million won and 2.6 million won in 2023 and last year, respectively.

Chairman Kim Deok-hwa said, “We have prepared the donation by gathering the hearts of our members so that our needy neighbors in the local community can have a warm New Year,” and added, “We will continue to fulfill our corporate social responsibility through various social contribution activities.”

Yangju Mayor Kang Su-hyeon said, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Chairman Kim Deok-hwa and members who practice warm sharing every year,” and added, “The donations will be a great help to our neighbors in need during the cold winter, and we will continue to work for the mutual prosperity and harmony of the local community.”
