Incheon Dong-gu (District Mayor Kim Chan-jin) announced that the free flu vaccination period for residents aged 14 to 64 will be extended until the 31st. With the recent cold wave and sudden spread of infectious diseases, the demand for flu vaccinations has increased, and the decision was made to extend the vaccination period to prevent infectious diseases and protect the health of local residents.
The main target of this vaccination is Dong-gu residents aged 14 to 64 born between January 1, 1960 and December 31, 2010. Those eligible can receive free vaccination benefits after verifying their residence through their resident registration copy. This vaccination is effective in preventing not only influenza but also respiratory infectious diseases such as metapneumovirus (HMPV).
