Lifelong Learning Center (Suji) 58th Regular Education Student Recruitment

Yongin Special City (Mayor Lee Sang-il) announced that it is recruiting students for the ’58th Regular Education Program’ to be held at the Yongin City Lifelong Learning Center (Suji) from January 14th to 16th. This program consists of a total of 68 courses in 7 fields including cooking, hair and beauty, technology application, information technology, humanities and liberal arts, culture and arts, and qualification acquisition, and is recruiting 1,080 people.

The training will be conducted for 12 weeks from February 3 to April 28, and the tuition fee is set at 30,000 to 90,000 won depending on the course period and time. Materials costs must be paid separately.

Anyone who is a Yongin Special Citizen over 19 years of age can apply, and employees of companies with addresses in the city, overseas Koreans, and married immigrants can also participate. Applications can be submitted online through the Yongin City Lifelong Learning Center website. Students will be selected through a random drawing, and during the additional recruitment period, applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis only for remaining courses.

In particular, parents of families with two or more children under the age of 18 can receive a 30% discount on tuition.

City officials said, “We hope that citizens can enjoy the joy of learning and improve their quality of life through the various regular education programs at Yongin City Lifelong Learning Center (Suji).”
