Incheon Michuhol-gu (District Mayor Lee Young-hoon) announced on the 16th that it received 30 10kg bags of rice (total 300kg) from the Sungeui Merchants Association (Chairman In Chi-ju) for the Lunar New Year holiday.
The rice received will be distributed to neighbors in welfare blind spots in the region through the Haksan Sharing Foundation and will be used to create a warm holiday atmosphere.
Inchiju, the chairman of the Sungeui Merchants Association, who attended the ceremony, said, “I decided to donate because I wanted to be of some help to our neighbors in need during the Lunar New Year holiday,” and “I will continue to pay attention to places that need help as a member of the local community.”

Lee Young-hoon, the head of Michuhol-gu District Office, said, “I am deeply grateful for the warm sharing by the Sungeui Merchants Association,” and “I will carefully deliver the donated rice to those who really need it.”
Meanwhile, the Sungeui Merchants Association has been consistently working to develop local commerce and protect merchants’ rights, and is also actively participating in sharing practices to contribute to the local community.
